The Connected Futures Program is the next evolution of the Dallas Innovation Alliance's Connected Dallas initiative, designed to help adults build the digital skills, confidence, and connections needed to achieve long-term economic mobility. The program combines personalized digital navigation, workforce readiness training, and access to technology to help participants overcome barriers to employment, education, financial stability, and essential services. Through structured learning pathways, participants receive individualized support to strengthen foundational digital skills, access affordable internet and devices, develop resumes, search and apply for jobs, complete online certifications, and navigate critical online resources such as healthcare, benefits, and financial services. Connected Futures also creates sustainable community impact by equipping trusted community-based organizations with a proven implementation model, standardized curriculum, and technical assistance that expands high-quality digital inclusion programming beyond a single service provider. Through its "Pathways & Playbook" approach, the program empowers local organizations to deliver consistent, workforce-focused digital skills training while adapting services to meet the unique needs of their communities. By combining direct resident support with community capacity building, Connected Futures creates scalable pathways that connect more individuals to employment opportunities, lifelong learning, and the digital resources necessary to thrive in today's economy.GeographiesDallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area, TX, USADatesMay 1, 2025 – …SourceUser-generatedBusiness and industry,Community improvement,Economic development,Adult literacy,Continuing education,Job services,Adult peer mentoring,Aging out of foster care,Homeless services,Immigrant services,LGBT Centers,Senior services,Women's servicesAdults,Families,Heterosexuals,LGBTQ people,Men and boys,Women and girls,At-risk youth,Economically disadvantaged people,Immigrants and migrants,Incarcerated people,Victims and oppressed people,Domestic workers,Emergency responders,Military personnel,Prostituted Persons,Self-employed people,Unemployed people,Veterans250–
